Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Jeff and family!
Chip, Merry Christmas to you and your family! I still have fond memories of your generosity to Hospitality House during the holidays.
Thanks Jeff- This year we started a small donation to HH Shelter I call Kids In Kars. Because of Covid, many people have been evicted from their homes (regardless of what you may hear about a moratorium). The Shelter is experiencing families showing up who have been living in their cars. In November they had 4 pregnant women who were living on the street or in their cars. So I got together with Carrie Worthington of Robinsons Industries and Ashley Quadros of HH Shleter. I get fuel vouchers from Robinsons that can “only be used” for fuel at their Grass Valley station. I then get with Ashley and get them to families who show up at the Shelter in their car. If I get one child out of living in the back seat of a car, and into permanent housing, — well it would be a Merry Christmas indeed.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Chip, What a thoughtful gesture. That is the true meaning of Christmas. Enjoy your day!
