49ers one win away from Super Bowl

“For San Francisco 49ers fans, the day was six seasons in the making — and it did not disappoint,” as The Chronicle is reporting.

“In the team’s first playoff appearance since 2013, the Niners dominated the Vikings throughout their 27-10 victory at Levi’s Stadium.

“The defense was near-impenetrable, giving up only 21 yards rushing on the day.

“’That was the No. 1 emphasis all week,’ rookie defensive lineman Nick Bosa said. ‘We knew we were facing probably the best back we’ve faced all year with Dalvin [Cook], and we knew we had to earn the right to pass rush. So, that’s what we did. We took the run as serious as we could, shut it down and then we ate.'”
