Editor’s note: Pine Street Burgers posted this announcement on Facebook. It also pointed to a new business that is coming to town, Burger and Cream. There is a Burger and Cream in Auburn. We love Pine Street Burgers and will continue to patronize its original location at Dorsey.
“To our Pine Street Burgers customers:
“As of December 16, 2019, we will no longer be operating our Taylorville location. We have been open a little over a year now, and unfortunately the population in Nevada County is not quite enough to operate both locations. We will, of course, continue to operate our original Pine Street Burgers at Dorsey, near the hospital.
“As a courtesy to our employees, we gave them plenty of notice of the upcoming closure. Some of them will go to work for the new business coming in (Burgers and Cream), as they have offered all of our staff a job. Unfortunately, some of them have chosen to move on early, which has forced a reduction in hours of operation until the business changes hands, and will be effective immediately:
“Thursday-Sunday 11-8
We will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.
“We are truly thankful for all of your support over the years, and look forward to seeing you all at our original location for many more to come.
“See you all soon! George and Suzie”
