  1. Our local political “intellects” are a hoot! Example: “Natural born citizen and 35 years old and 14 year resident. States cannot create additional qualifications for president. Gavin is dumb. Posted by: Barry Pruett | 30 July 2019 at 06:02 PM”

No Barry, Gavin isn’t “dumb.” He’s a smart politican, shining a light on a President who is afraid to show his tax return. And he’s going to get a lot of mileage out of it.

The commentators on Rebane’s Ruminations are miserable to be living under the politics of California but still choose to live here. After having lived all over and traveled all over, I’m proud to be a native. And a homeowner two times over. Go California!

  2. Imagine what Gregory’s life must be like! Commenting on Rebane’s blog 12:20 a.m., surmising that “Rock” whatever is yours truly (AKA “his lardness.”). No, Gregory, our family had gone to bed, and I don’t hide behind anonymous names. In fact, the commentary on Dr. George Rebane’s blog (whose commentary is on KVMR and who sits on the board of Music in the Mountains) may have reached a new low this week. Rebane agrees with Todd’s comments that Congressman Elijah Cummings district (as he puts it) is a “s***hole district,” (repeated throughout the thread); Rebane calls our Governor a “sleazebag,” Bernie Sanders “Crazy Bernie” and Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas,” and Gregory makes nasty and ugly commets about the Sierra Business Council and its leadership (which is doing good work in our region and winning widespread kudos), as well as insulting Paul Emery (whom he calls “Punch”) of KVMR and “Berzerkeley.” I can see why this group is labeled the “deporables.” Fortunately they don’t represent most of the community.

    1. Oh, I forgot Pruett who defended Trump with “nobody has a right to see anyone’s tax returns.”
Never mind that Trump is the first president in 40 years who is refusing to release his tax returns in office.
Our local deplorables are a hoot! BTW, how come women never comment there?

      1. “President Ronald Reagan released his 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, and 1987 returns. Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and Richard Nixon also released their taxes. Trump promised as a 2016 presidential candidate that he would release his tax documents, but later refused to do so citing a ‘routine audit’ by the IRS.”

  3. I am happy to hear of this requirement. Although I could never trust tRump in the first place, it’s important to know what kind of individual is leading our country.

  4. It is a great idea but doubt it will hold up in a court challenge, and no doubt it will be challenged, if it gets all the way up to SCOTUS, it is history.

  5. On the other hand, It wouldn’t even matter if he was on the November presidential ballot.. he won’t win CA so why should he care if he is on the ballot or not.
