This is “what a hoot” and “podunk” all wrapped up into one! Our esteemed Congressman Doug LaMalfa became the butt of a joke on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as social media, for his juvenile behavior at President Trump’s State of The Union speech this week.
“When Trump showed up in the House and walked up the aisle, one lawmaker [LaMalfa] tried to get him to autograph his hat,” Fallon said in his monologue.
Then the comedian showed the video clip. “He’s got his Sharpie there,” Fallon said as the video rolled, showing a surprised Trump waive his finger toward LaMalfa and walk away. “Trump is like, ‘The only thing I’m stopping to sign are boobs.'”

And after LaMalfa nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize?
In May 18 members of Congress — all Republicans — sent a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, nominating Trump to receive the award for his work to “end the Korean War, denuclearize the Korean peninsula, and bring peace to the region.”
So that ain’t workin out-
I’m sure LaMalfa’s name was right on the tip of Trump’s tongue.

LaMalfa is a nobody and a nothing even in his own party.
LaMalfa is not a nobody and a nothing.. he is a consistent yes man vote for whatever the party line is regardless of anything else like is constituents. And like G. Gordon Liddy, who once famously said he wouldn’t fall on a sword (my words) for Nixon but if you told him what street corner to stand on and what time to be there he would take a bulletin questions asked.
