Hospitality House’s “Night of Giving”

Editor’s note: This is something like “coals to Newcastle” reporting. Regular reader Chip Wilder took these photos from Hospitality House’s “Night of Giving” in Nevada City last night— a wonderful gathering that we’ve supported in the past — then he emailed them to me in the Turks and Caicos islands (with the captions). So I sent them back (AKA “posted them”) from 3,100 miles away, so locals in Nevada City could enjoy them. Ha! Thanks Chip and Merry Christmas!

  1. In our town where there is heavy competition for your entertainment dollar—-The best return on a $20 investment you could make, and to benefit Utah’s Place, is the Night of Giving. Thanks to Debbie McDonald for working so hard ( she doesn’t get enough recognition) and Thanks to Mikail for the totally professional way the whole thing is run when moving 40 + musical groups on and off two different stages.
Along with the movers and shakers in Nevada City, we have a group of “National Treasure’s” who step up voluntarily — every week, every year. For free.
    Merry Christmas to them.
