Public meeting tonight in Grass Valley on Save Highway 174 effort

Save Hwy 174 has been working with Caltrans to negotiate changes to the design to minimize the impact on homeowners and the environment.

The group is holding a public meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Grass Valley Courtyard Suites (217 N. Auburn St.) to review the original design as well as the proposed changes.

The group will also discuss Caltrans’ recent speed survey and the decision to increase the speed limit along Hwy 174.
