A peaceful “Families Belong Together” protest is planned for June 30 at the corner of Brunswick and Sutton in Grass Valley.
But the protest doesn’t sit well with some local pro-Trump supporters, so a “counter rally” is planned. “I was contacted about being part of a rally to support the ‘wall’ and other reasonable policies on immigration. I plan to be there,” Todd Juvinall reported on his political blog.
“We don’t know how many people the ‘Families etc.’ will muster for the event but whatever their number I hope we can outnumber them!” the pro-Trump contingent said. “I will have signs for everybody with slogans appropriate for this event, however if you’d like to make and bring your own sign you are welcome to.”
We’re going to be enjoying the Great Outdoors, one of the best reasons for living here.

Thanks Reinette. Was Todd Juvinall there? This blog has been a catalyst for the political change that has been necesssary to move our community to “purple” from political extremism. And guess what Todd, it’s happening! Right under your nose.
You will easily recognize Todd and company, they will be the ones with the MAGA hats and brown shirts.
And they will be overshadowed by the other side. “All hat, no cattle.”
They were about as effective as a wilted flower. After so many of us filled the whole area, they just wandered away. No support from passersby either.
