Veterans are upset over a plan to replace a commemorative tree and plaque with pickleball courts at a Grass Valley park, KCRA in Sacramento is reporting. The video is HERE.

  1. I’d like to think there would be some middle ground where a dead tree could be removed and still honor the veterans with a dedicated memorial “court” or two?

  2. Sorry Jeff, I have never been to that park so I couldn’t get a sense of the site.
    I’ll try to visit it and scope it out.
    There are always solutions to this kind of problem.
    We wouldn’t want to move Arlington to make way for an Astrodome, would we?
