The Ham Stand in Nevada City launches crowdfunding campaign

Editor’s note: We’ve written before about The Ham Stand, a charcuterie planned for the former space that was occupied by BYOB in Nevada City. Now the owner has launched a crowdfunding campaign.

“I’ve always wanted to open a salumeria. The dream is almost real, but funding these ventures is tricky, especially when sourcing heritage animals and contending with local building committees. This campaign pays it forward so I can compensate all my investors with an equal amount of product.

“Once up and running, my investors can see what’s available and customize their selections. It’s the meat you crave…bacon and sausage and culatello, oh my!

“Ultimately, Nevada County will benefit, as will my family.

“All support will be paid in full with the best meat products in Nevada County!

“This Ham Shall Stand!
