A Celebration of Life for Peggy Levine on October 28

A few short weeks ago, our community suffered the loss of an incredible lady with the passing of Peggy Levine. Peggy was truly beloved, as she touched the lives of so many people, organizations and causes in Nevada County and beyond.

She will always be fondly remembered for her generosity, warmth, spirit and incredible philanthropic efforts. We were blessed to have her talents and dedication so focused on restoring and transforming the North Star House into a cultural event center for all to enjoy.

Join the Levine family and our Board of Directors for a celebration of her life at the North Star House on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you wish to join us in honoring Peggy’s legacy, please attend this event. A program will start at 2:30 p.m. in the Courtyard of the North Star House. There will be music and a potluck, so please feel free to bring an appetizer, dish or beverage to share (no hard alcohol please). Due to limited on-site parking, it is advisable to car pool to Peggy’s Celebration.

The family has requested that in lieu of any flowers, donations be made to Peggy’s favorite causes; the North Star Historic Conservancy and the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation. Questions on the Celebration of Life can be directed to the North Star Historic Conservancy at 530-477-7126 or thenorthstarhouse@gmail.com.
