Why we shop local

Carolines Coffee Roasters in downtown Grass Valley refilled this order for us this afternoon for our houseguests.

A cheerful worker called to confirm whether it should be whole beans or ground. (“Whole beans, please.”)

Carolines does a great job. You don’t get this kind experience at Starbucks. BTW, owner Holly Fike has one of my favorite blogs: http://carolinescoffee.com/blog/
