Editor’s note: This should please some of our locals! Todd? Russ? Walt? “Bill Tozer”? For background, “How Trump ate Hillary’s lunch in Cracker Barrel counties” is here.
“Last week Cracker Barrel announced they were coming to the Sacramento area, but didn’t specify a location,” according to the Folsom El Dorado Hills News. “Today the Sacramento Business Journal posted that the southern restaurant chain would be coming to Rocklin in the near future. According to the article, the location will be the southwest corner of Interstate 80 and Sierra College Blvd.
“The chain known for their country store and breakfasts, has been on the wish list for many people for a long time. There are 645 locations in 44 states, but none in California. Last year it was speculated Cracker Barrel was coming to a location on Howe Avenue in Sacramento. No word on if that is still a possibility.
“The proposal goes before the Rocklin Planning Commission on Thursday evening. The project will also include a Chick Fil A, Del Taco and Les Schwab Tires according to the Rocklin Planning Commission Agenda.”

Oh, there is no shortage of work to do in Suzytown, Jeff.
You have to love nature more than human development to be happy living there.
Anymore it’s getting so busy here in town, it’s nice go go up there just for the quiet.
I’m an oldie, so quiet feeds my spirit more than sounds these days.
Getting ready for the big snooze I suppose.
