Trump lashes out at black CEO who quits council

“One of America’s most prominent black CEOs quit President Trump’s manufacturing council on Monday over Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacists,” as CNN is reporting.

“Kenneth Frazier of Merck said in a statement: ‘America’s leaders must honor our fundamental values by clearly rejecting expressions of hatred, bigotry and group supremacy.’

“Within minutes, Trump attacked him on Twitter, saying Frazier’s resignation will give him ‘more time to LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!’

“Frazier did not mention the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, in his statement, but he did say that ‘as a matter of personal conscience, I feel a responsibility to take a stand against intolerance and extremism.’

“That appeared to be a reference to Trump’s statement over the weekend blaming violence ‘on many sides” after neo-Nazis and white nationalists clashed with counter-protesters.’

  1. They should all quit his so called manufacturing council- there won’t be any jobs created without payola of some kind with the taxpayer taking the hit——-This violence and failure to condemn the white supremacist cowards responsible rests squarely on the “birther” in the White House. Racist to the bone, and lying about it for years, and Bannon and Miller publishing Breitbart and the Enquirer from the basement. We should expect more of this, unless this maniac is impeached.

  2. Seriously folks, there are people out there from the American Psychiatric Assoc., which recently dropped its ban on commenting on politicians’ mental health, who think trump is mentally ill and should not have the nuclear football anywhere near. All of his bluster and bullying over North Korea has some people seriously worried. This cannot be written off as “oh he’s a rookie at world diplomacy.” It goes way beyond that into the realm of the insane. Anyone who would threaten nuclear war, even as a bluff in some bizarre game of mental poker, is out of their minds and damaged beyond repair.

  3. OK so reading his own words in another post and tRump’s made up yammer I’m prone to believe the man who actually stated his reason over the idiot in the White House

  4. It’s been 70 years since the U.S. bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Google images of, “Hiroshima victims”, and view the result.
Those photos should be posted everywhere.
Kim and Trump should be made to sit and study each one carefully and contemplate their responsibility to humanity to never allow such horror to be inflicted on human beings again.
These two brats don’t seem to understand that running a country is no kid’s game.
