Feeding a local family for one year

Today 13,000 adults and children in our county may go to bed hungry, according to the Interfaith Food Ministry.

This weekend — after a discussion between the three of us — our family joined others in agreeing to donate enough money to the Interfaith Food Ministry to feed a local family for one year.

Interfaith Food Ministry has been providing supplemental food as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Western Nevada County since 1987. Over those years, 500,000 seniors, families with children, and single adults have walked through our doors.

More details about this organization is here.
