Go Vote

14925265_10209224770648145_3581207010971397407_nShannon and I are excited to go vote in our cute little town in the Sierra foothills this morning.

We will post our “I Voted” stickers to our sweaters and grab coffee/tea and breakfast in town. Shannon tried the mail-vote last time, but it’s just not the same experience.

Years ago, I was one of the first to “risk” voting with the electronic voting machines at our small precinct — or so I was told. People seem more comfortable with it now. Ha!

It is a “progressive” precinct, so we’ve noticed poll watchers whom we recognize from the Nevada County Tea Party on hand to monitor the proceedings. I just wave. “Good morning, Mrs. Rebane” or whomever. No shenanigans you Nevada City CA poll workers such as Eric Tomb or whomever! lol. Small towns are a hoot. Like the Cheers bar, “everybody knows your name.”

Thanks to those who worked so hard in the past for each Americans’ right to vote.

“fish” is having a rough morning and it’s just 8 a.m. Wait until tomorrow. ROFLOL.

Poor fish. He’s talking to himself again on George Rebane’s blog. He has no friends where he lives, so he comes here. Fish’s mantra: “I am lonely. Will anyone speak to me?” It is one of the saddest threads on the internet.

Our polling place is Seaman’s Lodge. It is just the greatest place to cast your ballot in our town. We talk to our neighbors longer than it takes to vote. Should be a National Holiday though-
I know they were having problems with the Pioneer Park pool, but why is there water in there still?
    Does it need it?

“Today I am poll observing for the Trump campaign in Reno. Glad I am here.”
