Nevada County featured in this week’s S.F. Chronicle travel section

I had written earlier about our plans to advertise in a special section of The Chronicle dedicated to Nevada County. I worked at The Chronicle as a staff writer for 12 years, and we also wanted to support the special section with our business.

The articles are going to run in print this weekend, but they are posted online in a “sneak peek.” Here you go:

“The Insider’s Guide to Nevada City”

“Grass Valley: Vintage treasurers in a former mining town”

•”Nevada City: Old West with a new age vibe”

•”Hip, historic Sierra weekend”

•”Truckee: Redefined rustic in a rustic town”

•”Nevada County’s wine scene emerges”

•”Brush up on history at these three state parks”

•”A modest looking spot to experience new wines”

•”What a Chez Panisse alum is cooking up in Grass Valley”

•”Sierra Starr grows into 2nd-generation winery”
