It is the fifth winery tasting room in the historic downtown. The others are Avanguardia, Lucchesi, Sierra Starr and Smith Vineyard.

“Scott and Judy Brown, along with a supporting cast of characters, have taken a contemporary approach to creating fine wines in the Sierra Foothills,” according to Bent Metal’s website. “From metal to medals, we have both. Casual and friendly with beautiful Sierra views. Fine wines of distinction. Just 4 easy miles from historic downtown Grass Valley.”

Bent Metal’s winery, which also offers tasting, is at 14364 McCourtney Road.
