The Union’s weekly columnist suggests “brucelevy” is a sock puppet

What a hoot! The Union’s weekly columnist George Boardman now is suggesting that “brucelevy” is a sock puppet.

“… ‘brucelevy,’ who many people think is one of (the blogosphere’s) sock puppets,” George writes.

No, George. Bruce isn’t a sock puppet. He just doesn’t have much respect for The Union newspaper — like a lot of people.

What a lot of people also find astounding is how The Union publisher Don Rogers can continue to keep George Boardman around as a weekly columnist. It reflects on his judgment too.

    1. Most of us know “Emperor George” has no clothes, based on his minor-league resume and the routine factual errors in his columns. Worse, “renewable, sustainable” — the forte of your business and others — is anathema to him. He’s a “horse and buggy” columnist at a newspaper that desperately needs to be relevant to a younger generation (i.e, in their 50’s). And he’s the “weekly columnist” of choice. That sends a real message to The Union readership. Good luck Don Rogers!

      1. George Boardman, whom The Union has hired as its columnist, is now calling Bruce Levy “Brucie.” He wonders whether I am “tied up in knots” and/or on meds. No to both, George. I’m working with the French doors open, enjoying a gentle breeze, the foliage, and our dog napping. I paid our taxes on time too. Your world is the comic relief in between.

  1. This is classic Boardman. Now he’s backing off his statement suggesting “brucelevy” is a sock puppet. He writes: ” I just reported many people think he’s a sock puppet.” Yet his “reporting” did nothing to discourage that, including the fact that it’s wrong. George is either dumb or a weasel. Or both. And his biggest fan is “Earl.” Enough said. Aging, declining. Go The Union!

      1. Well, Todd isn’t even worth mentioning. He’s so far out there I don’t even think his quasi-sycophants even believe his BS. He’s a disturbed machine who has no control over himself. In a saner world he would be spouting to the head nurse.

  2. I don’t know what to say. Can stupidity be this profound? Perhaps he looked up the definition of sock puppet and looked to find a use of it to impress his moron readers. I think he’s a perfect match for the Tea Party Gazette. They speak at the same level to the same moronic constituency. Really, these people are mindless troglodytes. But I’m flattered that these morons even target me (and you). They clearly “don’t get out much” as so many people know who I am that to make this statement is the epitome of abject stupidity. It’s black comedy at it’s most banal.

  3. More brilliance from George Boardman’s blog. He actually cleared this comment:
    “Bill Tozer says:
    August 31, 2016 at 2:48 pm
I was wondering why the wooden sidewalks in Nevada City are no more. Thanks for including the pic with the handy fireplug nearby to unravel the mystery.”

George is The Union’s weekly columnist — paid, no less.
