Dorsey Drive Interchange: Our new $20 million route to school this morning!

In “Jeff’s World,” school starts on Tuesday, September 4 — not today. But we are up and at ’em, dealing the “new” reality.

This morning we’ll be joining other families in the 5- 10 minute commute to school on the new $20 million Dorsey Drive interchange.

The project required testing of 47,000 cubic yards of fill, 800 cubic yards of structural concrete, and 21,000 tons of hot mix asphalt — all for our little commute!

What 181,900-square-foot Dorsey Marketplace shopping center? I don’t see a shopping center.

How sweet of the City of Grass Valley to pave the way for us in style. I guess it’s all in the timing! Have a good day.
