NCERC misspells its own name on its new website’s homepage

The Nevada County Economic Resource Council supposedly spent thousands of dollars to build and launch new websites, choosing an outfit out of Chico called MC2 Design Group. (That’s where NCERC Executive Director Jon Gregory is from). It claimed to follow a “rigorous” RFP process.

Well, OK then.

The new NCERC website has been active for weeks now, but the name of the organization is misspelled on the homepage. The header refers to the “Nevada County Economic Resources Council” with an “s.” Yet the text refers to the “Nevada County Economic Resource Council” with no “s.”

Who’s on “first base” with this effort? You can’t make this stuff up!
