Heidi Hall and Duane Strawser discuss the issues on April 7 at Rood Center, thanks to League of Women Voters

The local League of Women Voters does a great job. One of their longtime directors, Helen,  is one of my neighbors. She is an intelligent, perceptive and well-traveled woman, with accomplished children who live all over the world.  We visit sometimes when we are collecting mail at our mailboxes or walking in the neighborhood. We talk about politics, but also our families, world news or what we’re planting in our gardens. It’s always a good conversation.

This forum is coming up in the District 1 Supervisor’s race:

  1. I just checked my email and received this from another League member. You can see all the other forums they are working on. I will update this when the “TBDs” are completed, but at least you can “save the date.”

    Jeff,

Every election season, the League of Women Voters provides the community with opportunities to learn more about what’s on the ballot. Below is our schedule of forums dealing with candidates and proposals — pieces of information that you might consider including in any upcoming, local election related content you post on your blog.

Some of the information is incomplete. I will update you when I have the “TBD” pieces confirmed.

    Thanks,
    MaryJane
