Meet Your Merchant in The Union — without seeing him

The Union has a feature on woodcarver Ray Kinman, quoting Ray, waxing on about his background, including the signs he carved for Disneyland. Yet after all this, there is no photo of Ray to go with the article. “Feature Story of Ray Kinman business doesn’t have a picture of him, just the sign,” one reader wrote. “Our family knows Ray, and he has done some marvelous work for us in the past — too bad.” You can’t make this stuff up!

    Meet Ray (in person) at the street fair in Grass Valley this summer. He will have his work on display, all while working on his latest project. You’ll have to recognize him by his display booth with some of his work, rather than our paper-
