The Union errs in NCERC writeup

The Union.com has a report from this week’s NCERC meeting here.

It reads: “Lynn Wilson, who co-owns Sierra Vintners, was originally appointed chair in December 2014.” (See a “screen grab” below).

Huh? Lynn Wilson does not co-own Sierra Vintners. He co-owns Pilot Peak Winery. Sierra Vintners is an association of wine producers in our region.

  1. Glad to see the error has been corrected, although there is no mention that a correction was made. Identifying an “update” is standard operating procedure in journalism, apparently except for The Union. I guess they are too insecure to admit to an egregious error.
