Celebrating Valentine’s Day in downtown Grass Valley

“Good food and service, reasonable prices at Sergio’s, with the man himself…. and here’s my valentine Shirley!” – Terry Lamphier’s Facebook page

Check out the “new” Sergio’s on Mill Street if you haven’t already. And thanks to the City of Grass Valley for its small-business loan to Sergio. (Our friend Tony Reyna, who teaches our son in his black-belt training, is a Sergio devotee).

The Facebook posts captured a lot of happy couples this weekend. We’re digging into our gift basket from Carolines Coffee Roasters in Grass Valley and started this morning with “Shannon’s Valentine’s Blend,” (AKA Dark French Italian Roast). Next up: the Cello Chocolate, made in Nevada City.

BTW, check out Carolines coffee blog by Holly Fike if you’re a coffee or tea drinker. It is educational and informative.
