I noticed The Union could use some help with Facebook “likes.” So at 3,999 “likes,” I clicked on their page to become No 4,000 — a milestone. It registered, but I noticed I wasn’t allowed to comment and crow about being No. 4,000. I though I might win a prize or something. (To be sure, I checked and my wife was allowed to comment from her Facebook account but not me).
So I just “unclicked” my like and now the total stands at 3,999. Could somebody else more qualified than me please click on The Union’s Facebook page and help them cross the 4K threshold. And what’s with The Union’s free-speech policy? LOL.
Before (when I was “like” #4,000):
After (when spurned from commenting, I “unliked” to bring the total back to #3,999):

I am now number 4000…
Fine, fine. I hope you win a “Pinkie Cooper” doll or something. Happy New Year.
Man, I had to look up what a “Pinkie Cooper” is!
LOL. It’s “the bomb.”
I’ve been blocked from that page as “Douglas Keachie” ever since they started. Should I ever feel the urge to visit The Union, I just log in on Facebook as somebody else. I have so much fun with Nevada County Vents, a FB group I started, I seldom make the rounds here and at RLCrabb, but keep on at least reading the titles on ncvoices.us
I wonder when The Union will realize their anti free speech policies have drivven lots of folks out to Nevada County Vents? And maybe loosen up a bit? Probably about the same time they start paying for spot news photos, the Twelfth of Never.
I like the Nevada County Vents page. Thank you for creating it.
Thank-you!
Facebook is for teenagers, Twitter too.
It’s an addiction for many.
Here’s a little food for thought.

Don’t know why the The Union post it front page on facebook – too small to read it! Born & raised in
Nevada City and since now out of the area don’t suscribe to the paper as would not get it in a timely manner.
