Snow started sticking in Alta Sierra at about 7pm ish.
Drove from Sacramento to Nevada City at around midnight. 49 was was plowed and drive-able in a Subaru. Fair amount of stuck two-wheel drive cars on the side of the road on the way. Started to get bad at Newcastle. Nevada City streets were plowed.
6am Saturday. 8 inches snow. 3190 ft. elev. Banner Mountain. Manageable amount.
