  1. Wow Jeff! Meeks Bay……Truckee…..you spent some time in traffic. I was in Tahoe City all week and didn’t dare give up my parking. My fam went down the Truckee River and it took me 45 minutes to get back to town from River Ranch. I could have walked it quicker. Those ‘Bay Area Values’ must include an impeccable patients for traffic. 😉

P.S. Tahoe City Yacht Club was decked out!! (excuse the pun.)

    1. Chris,
We encountered no traffic whatsoever. Stocked up on food from the Foothill Farmers Market before heading up and never touched Tahoe City, except for the trip out to Truckee early morning Saturday. Stayed on West Shore the whole time, knowing the “drill” to avoid the crowds. Having said that, we saw the traffic – backed up all the way from Tahoe City to Sunnyside in the northbound direction. Going home today (Monday). “S.F. values” did not prevail at yesterday’s Giants’ game, however!

  2. Classic “throwing the ball around” by Buster Posey no less in the top of the ninth. The Angel Pegan injury is turning out to be a big hole in the lineup. I’m with Marty Lurie, Brandon Belt should have been playing 1st in the latter part of the game.
