Scoop: Lifetime Adoption may occupy former Weaver Auto

Lifetime Adoption may occupy the front of the former Weaver Auto Center in Grass Valley, and it will include an event center for weddings and other special occasions, according to my sources.

Chris’ Collision Repair may occupy the rear, they added. Chris’ is now in Grass Valley up by the airport. (We have been customers, and their work is excellent).

As we previously reported, this highly visible property has been up for sale.

Lifetime Adoption Center is a national adoption service. It was founded in 1986 as an adoption support and referral group by founder Mardie Caldwell. It has offices in Rough & Ready.

Mardie has been openly telling people in our community about her plan. She has been very excited about it, they said. Contractors have been working on the property. Mardi could not be reached for comment.
