Assemblyman Dan Logue: A leader or a litterer?

(Credit: CABPRO)

Here the latest on CABPRO’s “Business Advocate of the Year” Dan Logue from the state capitol, shining a light on his leadership skills:

“Assemblyman Dan Logue was rebuked (yesterday) in the Assembly for angrily tossing 800 pages of state regulations onto the floor during debate on a bill to bolster renewable energy requirements,” according to the Sacramento Bee.

“Before littering the floor, the Linda Republican said businesses are so overregulated that many are leaving California. Increasing renewable energy requirements would make matters worse, Logue said.

“Logue tossed the papers onto the Assembly floor and said, ‘This is what you’ve done to the state of California.’

“Immediately, Logue’s comments were disrupted by Assembly Majority Leader Charles Calderon, D-Whittier.

“The request was to use materials on the floor — not to throw them all over the floor,” said Assembly Majority Leader Charles Calderon, D-Whittier.

The Assembly passed the bill, SBx1 2, and sent it to Gov. Jerry Brown.”

Awwww, did lil Danny Logue have a CAPBRO sponsored, full blown, wingnut “man tantrum”, (so uncool) when he didn’t get his only constituents (that would be CAPBRO), their whiny, sour grape, dirty money way? Why don’t you work on getting the friggin $250.00 COLA for senior citizens for a change?…or let’s see…J-O-B-S, like Obama did with the Wireless Broadcast Stimulus Act to the tune of 17 million extra dollars for your District? Just askin…

      What a d**k

      • kate hancock says:

People who know they have all the “adequate” brains and appendages required to do the job, just do their job–they don’t go off on dramatic flights of fancy about it, like this twinkle toes…and they don’t act the way Logue did. Period. They just do it. Well…Kate

  2. He is a joke and does NOTHING for the citizens in his District. Even Arnold rejected one of his bills because it was so poorly written. His “BIZ LEAVING” mantra has been called A DOG AND PONY SHOW by Sacramento Bee. He had two years to learn how to do his job and all he apparently learned is how to act like a two year old. Stunt that backfired? Go home, Dan, before your temper gives you a heart attack. Go away.

Recall Him. Where do I sign?

  3. kate hancock says:

That last message maybe should have had an “R” rating…accompanied by Spears “Big Fat Bass”…;)

  4. Gail Allinson says:

When someone throws something on the floor, that same someone should clean up their mess. Weren’t we all taught that in kindergarten?

  5. Pat Wynne says:

Is his foul mood due to still not being able to get over his pet project to promote the Texas oil scam, Prop. 23, which was soundly rejected by California voters? What is the man really doing in the California Legislature other than pulling down his tax-paid salary and perks, acting like a fool, making a mess on the floor of the meeting room and embarrassing those of his constituents who care what others in the state think of the northern California Republican counties?

  6. Steve Enos says:

Such a tantrum. Reminds me of the young kid I saw the other day do the same thing in K-Mart when he didn’t get his way.

  7. John Vodonick says:

What an embarrassment to our district. My children act better than that. Come to think of it, my dogs act better than that.

  8. Brad Glasse says:

    Little Danny’s not completely useless……

He can always serve as a “bad example”

  9. John Stoos says:

What better way to make a point about being over-regulated then to find out there are even regulations about what you can do with a pile of regulations!

If a Democrat sheds a tear at a press conference they are sensitive, and if the same happens with a Republican they are too emotional to serve in public life.

If a bunch of Democrats plaster papers ALL over a state capitol like in Wisconsin it is the voice of the people, but if a Republican using some paper to make a valid point, then…

Well just look at all the comments made above.

    False premise. Evidence please.

False analogy. Where?, when? Citation please.

    • John Stoos says:

First example could certainly be the new Republican speaker v. the Muslim member who broke down in committee last week.

The second is the example we are discussing with Assemblyman Logue.

I guess you notice media bias a lot more when you are on the losing end of the bias.

        Mr. Stoos,
Where is the backup infantry today?

      • Chris Bishop says:

        ???First example. Whatever.

Second example. What are Wisconsin Democrats doing that is the same is Logue? Did someone throw papers around? I haven’t heard that. Maybe they did. Did they John?

Once again, for the umpteenth time, your interpretation of the facts doesn’t make something factual.

But when you’re a professional preacher, logical challenges don’t ever happen.

I understand you’re confusion with facts and your interpretation of facts.

      • JOHN STOOS says:

Actually since the God who gave us the Bible invented logic and created all the facts I do have to try and keep up and trust me, the members of my church keep me on my toes.

    OBAMA IN 2012
Official Campaign Slogan: Obama: Still The Only Adult in the Room…

  12. JOHN STOOS says:

I think you all scared them away 😦

  13. Brad Glasse says:

I don’t know as I’ve seen a lot of politicians crying in the past including our current speaker of the house…..

I just wished that Charlie Wrangle cried a lot more, in-fact like a little school girl, so the scumbag would stood up and accepted his fate….

I like the quote from Tom Hanks – “There’s no crying in baseball”, I just wish it was true in Politics.

  14. Charlie Rangle, a Democrat, in my humble opinion, should spend the rest of his short, remaining life, in Rikers Prison.
