  1. Who else was in the running Jeff? Did he have any really good competition and who appointed him? Just askin:) Kate Hancock

    1. He was appointed by the board’s search committee. He was brought up at the last meeting as the most likely candidate.

The group stands to lose county funding, so it will be a real challenge to keep it robust going forward.

The ERC needs to work harder to sign up new members and gain broader support from the business community.

      1. The highest level executives are usually called “C-level” or part of the “C-suite”, referring to the 3-letter initials starting with “C” and ending with “O” (for “Chief __________ Officer”).

  2. Speaking of interesting “appointments”, did you hear that Paul Ryan is scheduled to speak on behalf of the GOP after the President’s State of the Union speech? But, apparently, this is not good enough for the Tea People. They, the tea people, have anointed, or appointed, crazy-eyed Michele Bachmann to speak to someone who might care what she says about something people…or maybe they’ll just watch her stepford wife eyes roll around for awhile. I’m sure Ms. Bachmann makes a nice bundt cake for their meetings though…hey, good for them! I guess…the redo on the civil war has begun…inside of the GOP…Kate Hancock

    1. LOL, Judith…Kate….reminds me of the piggy being driven home by an exasperated mother on the GEICO ad…Lord, this lil piggy went to market…
