  1. On the other side, look what kind of advertising is showing up, my response to someone obviously influenced by them:

Obama most certainly did NOT seek a raise! You are probably being influenced by groups like American Crossroads which is currently attempting to smear Dr. Ami Bera of UC Davis who is running for the 5th Congressional District. Their ad is classic propaganda, same brief mention over and over attempting to tie him to a semi angry scowl picture of Obama and Obamacare, with nary a mention of the fact that Ami Bera is a practising MD and professor at UC Davis.

Shame on the folks too unaware that will fall for this NAZI style propagnada, It’s straight out of 1984.

BTW, American Crossroads does not identify its funders or principals on its website.

  2. On Ben’s ad, nicely done, hope you can run it numerous times, will be voting for you, as Clint stands no chance this go round. Sorry Clint, but that’s the truth, and I will take this opportunity to express the real direction I would like to see things go.

  3. Speaking of nazi propaganda, I read somewhere that for the first time, Germany has an exhibition on display that attempts to show its people the types of brain washing and propaganda techniques used by that dreadful, insidious regime. There also is a documentary that shows the difference between the real warsaw ghetto tragedy and the propaganda spread by the nazis about it. It reminds me of Rove, American Crossroads, fringe elements of the Tea Party. Even those GOP guys who asked for “hicky” actors for their ‘version of all american blue collar workers. Its all Wall Streets version of the Great American Voters Hoax. I think we’re beginning to realize when we’re being ‘played’…and should vote accordingly…we’re not suckers or sheep…they’re not the boss of us anymore. Kate Hancock

  5. If anyone wants a chilling evening, rent “The Triumph of the Will” which was an early Nazi propaganda piece from the 1930’s.

As you watch it remember the wise words of Edmund Burke, “Those who don’t know history are destined to repeat it.”

PS: It is available at Blockbuster or Netflix.
Here is how Netflix describes it:
Leni Riefenstahl’s infamous propaganda film documenting the Third Reich’s 1934 Nuremberg Party Rally features a cast of thousands — including Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Joseph Goebbels, Rudolf Hess, Hermann Goering and other top officials. Images of cheering crowds, precision marching, military bands, banners lining Nuremberg’s streets and Hitler’s climactic speech illustrate with chilling clarity how Germany fell under his spell.”

  6. And Hitler never admitted to even being a witch as a teenager. Palin ranks higest with white guys, according to Bill Maher, and why? Because she and MConnell, etc., bring back the perky dingbat housewife they all miss.

  7. A Film Unfinished is what I was referring to John–made by an Israeli film maker. Uses actual propaganda ginned up by the nazis about “good times” in the Warsaw ghetto. Kinda like the “perky housewife” fabrication you mentioned Doug. Palin and O’Donnell…made by ‘mad-men’, proctor & gamble–China and Dubai divisions :)…Kate Hancock

  8. Thanks Douglas,

I am running for the average people of the district and America. Average people really don’t have representation any longer and until we start challenging the system from outside as well as from within, we are going to continue to get bad results.
