While waiting for some updated Nevada County results, I’m reading The Union’s “live” commentary.
Highlights include:
•An ad that pops up in your face when you try to read the real-time commentary. One of them: “IQ quiz: What is the state capital of Florida? Tallahassee, Orlando or Miami?” (It’s the first city).
•Also, at 9:09 p.m., “hearing” that Rick Keene is “smoking” Doug LaMalfa in early returns, even though the state website shows LaMalfa is, in fact, “smoking” Keene. Details are here, though the night is still young.
•The editor/publisher of The Union crowing that he is getting votes for Governor. (Three, including one from Aaron Klein). “If Gary Coleman was alive it would be a 3-way race,” the guy — dubbing himself Ackernator — writes. As for Aaron, the candidates he endorsed are losing by wide margins — at least so far.
