I listened to KNCO’s radio broadcast of the Tea Party-KNCO-The Union sponsored candidate forum, and clerk-recorder candidate Barry Pruett’s comments were the most, well, intriguing.
Among other things, Pruett said the clerk-recorder’s race is the difference “between San Francisco values and Nevada County values.”
None of the commentators bothered to follow up to ask what he meant by that statement.
To me, it’s just more of the same “in your face” rhetoric that divides, not unites, our community.
The list of people endorsing Barry in this supposedly nonpartisan race is here (and includes the county Republican Council, Aaron Klein, Stan Meckler, Greg Marks and George Rebane), so perhaps they could provide some answers.
