The Union columnist Rebane endorses Barry Pruett

George Rebane, The Union’s monthly columnist, is among those endorsing Barry Pruett for county-clerk recorder, according to Pruett’s website.

Others include Stan and Elaine Meckler. The full list is here.

Let’s hope that George discloses his endorsement if he writes about the campaign in The Union.

Barry also links to his Facebook site where he writes, “Got a nice plug from Congressman McClintock tonight at the Tea Party Party!”

Barry’s wife, Kim, is a field lieutenant for McClintock.

He calls the clerk-recorder’s office “the most unstable office in Nevada County” on his website. “I will bring the revolving door under control.”

  1. I donated $100 to the Greg Diaz campaign. He has done an excellent job and deserves to be re-elected. The Pruett campaign is pure politics aimed at taking over a non-partisan elected post for the extreme right of the Republican Party. Greg Diaz is a pro, cannot be manipulated or controlled by any political party.

    1. Pat, Well said and I could not have agreed with you more. I cannot afford $100.00 but some monies will be sent to the Diaz campaign. Better yet, I think I will call someone there and volunteer my time….

      1. Pat,
As uaual, well put. I believe this community is absolutely behind Greg Diaz and Mr. Pruett will go down as a slick politician who played politics with a non-partisan position. And, he freely admits to being a tea-bagger and in full support of McClintock. No problem since McClintock lost in Nevada County. I predict that Mr. Pruett will go down in defeat as well.
