From the GV Council agenda for Tuesday’s meeting:
“By Council policy the terms of appointed Planning Commissioners coincide with the Council Member’s term of office who nominated the Commissioner. As three Council seats were up for election this year, so three Planning Commissioner seats also expire.
“Each of the new Council Members will nominate a person to serve on the Planning Commission to be considered by the City Council. Council Members have indicated that they will nominate the following individuals: Daniel Swartzendruber (Jan Arbuckle), Don Coots (Howard Levine) and Yolanda Cookson (Lisa Swarthout).“
Cookson is a former council member; Coots is chairman of the board of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.
The agenda also includes a request to defer the payment of impact fees for a building located at 150 Crown Point Court, at the owner and contractor’s request.
