An apartment building on Stewart Street, across from Tripps Auto Body, and next door to Grass Valley City Hall and the Grass Valley Police Department was damaged by a fire last night. The Grass Valley Fire Department sent its new ladder truck to the scene. Though people were evacuated, no injuries were reported. “Citizen journalist” Steve Enos, also a Grass Valley resident, shot some photographs and emailed them:
