“Despite the 90 degree temperatures, it feels to us like January and the 2013 Wild & Scenic Film Festival are just around the corner. We are busy watching films, creating workshops, inviting special guests, and much more. And we are excited to announce the theme for the 2013 festival is…. ‘A Climate of Change,” the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is announcing this morning.
The annual Festival is January 11-13 in Nevada City.
“While not all content will directly connect to the theme, you can expect to see a number of films, special guests, events, workshops, art and more that will provide insight and commentary on issues of climate change.
“At Wild & Scenic we focus on the people, organizations, and communities that are providing solutions and forward-thinking to our most pressing problems. Consistent with that focus, we will highlight the people and actions that are creating ‘a climate of change,’ in which we can collectively make the dramatic global advancements that need to happen in response to climate change.”

I am sure Russ and George have already reserved their tickets for a weekend VIP pass.
The usual suspects are having a cow:

LOL!
EXCELLENT news! Kudos to the festival organizers for doing this.
The difference of course is that the usual suspects (who is Kaiser Sose anyway?) will be talking to the same 12 angry men while the Wild and Scenic Film Festival will have an aggregate audience in the tens of thousands.
