  1. Prop 14 has basically eliminated third parties and has limited democracy instead of expanding it. Both the Green/ Libertarian Party’s have filed lawsuits against the new law. 150-200 years of infrastructure the big two party’s have makes it virtually impossible for underfunded and under networked third party’s to compete as equals for ballot access.

  2. Exactly Ben. Parties (and those the party chooes to open up to) ought to be able to choose party candidates. Primaries got the candidate choosing out of the back room. This top two travesty disrespects ALL parties. It also disrespects voters who can not vote a write-in in November. What we currently have is better called first round voting.
