Editor’s note: The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic is this weekend. We have been reading the various article of the disaster.
Working backwards from the shipwreck from the ocean floor, new animation provides the most accurate picture of how the ship sank.
While I found the video interesting, the narration from James Cameron is insensitive as to the human dimension. I wish it had been left out.

Jeff,
I don’t know if you watched this program in its entirety, but Cameron and a team of experts went over the sinking piece by piece to determine exactly how it happened.(piece by piece on how Titanic ended up in the position it did on the ocean floor. The narration is Cameron going over the new animation with his team on the final conclusion. He figured he got it wrong in his movie. It was quite interesting.
A year from September you can just about bet that a few more will join the Titanic, but this time at the bottom of San Francisco Bay: http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielfisher/2012/01/25/ellison-bets-on-pure-speed-for-next-americas-cup/
