“Days after an anti-Obama bumper sticker went viral, the seller of another version denies that her site’s product is racist,” according to the Huffington Post.
“Forbes contacted Hinesville, Ga., business owner Paula Smith, owner of Stickatude.com. Her company is featuring a $3 sticker that says ’2012 Don’t Re-nig!’ — the site’s bestseller as of Monday afternoon.
“When asked by Forbes if the sticker was racist, she said no, explaining that the N word is not attached to race.
“‘According to the dictionary [the N word] does not mean black,’ she said. ‘It means a low down, lazy, sorry, low down person. That’s what the N word means.’
“Last Thursday, a photo of a similar bumper sticker reading ‘Don’t Re-Nig In 2012′ spread on Facebook. Below that line was a set of smaller text that read ‘Stop repeat offenders. Don’t re-elect Obama!’
“The first version appeared to originate from Stumpy’s Stickers. But as of Friday afternoon, ABC news reported that the site’s email address had been suspended.
Smith dismissed the idea that she is a racist, telling Forbes that her goal is to get a new candidate in the White House. “And besides Obama is not even black,” Smith added. “He’s got a mixture of race. It’s his choice of what his nationality is. I’m a mixed breed. I call myself a Heinz 57.”

Of couse the bumper sticker is racist. And her lame defence is a prime example of how ignorant people try to lay claim to rational thinking and a spark of intelligence.
I found this same information and a posting by Michael Anderson on Russ Steele’s blog site. It’s very “interesting” how the right hand soliders try to explain this one….
I was pleasantly surprised that Todd Juvinall took a stand showing his disgust of this posting!
Maybe there still is hope that our right wing friends can be more than civil!
Brad, you might want to look at that post again……Todd misrepresented Michael’s motivation for posting the photo of the bumper sticker and called him a racist, just for bringing the sticker to their attention.

I’m not sure why she was even asked about if it was racist since it obviously was.
I had a conversation last week in Holton, Indiana, with victims hit by the March 2 Tornado, The topic shitted to politics. They were a little ashamed but admitted they wouldn’t vote for Obama because he was black. They wanted to but they couldn’t. The message in that bumper sticker is obvious.

I dislike the word “Nigra” even more.
It’s a sloppy mispronunciation of the word “negro” that we used to hear a lot from white trash Georgians, when our family was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA, in 1963, during the Civil Rights movement.
Coming from California, we were simply not prepared for level of ugliness toward people of color we encountered there.
