Ice skating on Tenaya Lake in Yosemite

This is a once in a generation (or more) experience. The Tioga Pass road is normally closed by the winter snowfall. We swim there in the summer.

  1. That is so cool. I’m glad the ice appears to be way thick enough so there are no “break-throughs.” It’s several hundred feet deep in the middle.

  2. An awesome lake any time of year. So much so, we named our daughter after this body of water (and ice).
