John,
I think if the vote was held today we would casting a vote for the same candidate despite my opposition to almost Paul’s entire domestic policies outside of ending the war on drugs.
The one concern I have is the Supreme Court, it is plausible that 2 or 3 justices will be leaving the bench in the next 5 years. We cannot afford to have anymore corporate shills sitting on the US Supreme Court. Paul’s ideology isn’t corporatism but those who share Paul’s political views are way more likely to lean that way.
John,
I finally came up for air work-wise for a week or two, so I’ll be contacting you to collect on that political bet from last November! Or was it two? Anyway, I’ll be in touch.
Prop 14 took care of that for me. To my understanding, which changes every couple weeks because the due diligence wasn’t done before getting the prop on the ballot of exactly how it will be implemented.
In the presidential race you have to be registered with the party. With the new open party you can still RUN for whatever seat you want in the other races by listing your party preference and anyone can vote for you in that primary.
In spirit I will pulling for Paul in CA. I will ask republicans to give him their vote, I am not sure if you noticed there are a few republicans in the County.
This is why I am supporting Congressman Paul: He is the ONLY man in either party who actually wants to change things!

William K. Black wrote a book called The Best Way to Rob a Bank is to Own One.
I haven’t read it yet.

Ben,
Don’t forget to change your registration “temporarily” so you can cast a helpful vote in the June primary!
I think we would both be pleased with Congressman Paul’s pick for any judicial positions.

Jeff,
It was two
and I am good for both of them!
