Editor’s note: We’ve watched the Amgen bike race on TV since it left the foothills. Yesterday’s finish at Mt. Baldy was the most dramatic stage of the race, with Leipheimer and Horner of Team Radio Shack pulling ahead of the pack in a mountaintop finish. The P.R. team sent along the final results:
The 2011 Amgen Tour of California came to an exciting finish today in Thousand Oaks, where Chris Horner was proclaimed the overall champion and Garmin-Cervelo took the overall win in the teams competition. Below are some highlights.
