I’m in the “if you wash your car it will certainly rain” camp.
I was supposed to go on a trip to Yosemite this week with my son’s class. As we’ve seen, Mother Nature had other plans. I am staring at my forlorn camping equ. still laid out like a pretty girl stood up on prom night.
I think if I put everything back into storage this evening, like I do every fall, the weather will turn.
Everyone, please join me. Put away your tennis rackets, defer making your summer cabin reservations, cancel the rest of your Little League games.
It will get warmer after Memorial Day, then borderline hot after the 4th of July; I hope.
Yesterday I talked with a person who works at one of the local garden centers, she mentioned the growing season is about a month behind what is typical for around here.

We can do this.
