Proponents were somber at campaign headquarters in Oakland, handing out Baklava with marijuana.
The editor/publisher of The Union has supported the measure, while the county DA and Sheriff, among others, were opposed.
Some worried that passage of the measure would hurt the “underground” marijuana economy in our community, dampening spending.
