At its meeting this week, the Grass Valley City Council is expected to set Thursday, Sept. 9, for a joint study session with the Planning Commission on a draft Environmental Impact Report for the Loma Rica housing project.
“The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Loma Rica Ranch plan will be released for public review in mid-September 2010. The DEIR will be first presented to the Planning Commission for their review and consideration after which it will be forwarded to the City Council for a final decision as to its adequacy under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).”
The topics for this session would include background of project, the review process and scope of the draft EIR and significant issues covered in the draft EIR.
