Tickets for SYRCL’s 8th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival go on sale Dec. 1.
This year’s festival, which is from Jan. 15 – 17 in Nevada City, is taking on a food and water theme: Fresh Local Wild.
“It was very apparent as we were watching the film submissions this year that the local, organic revoution was an important message filmmakers wanted to share,” according to festival organizers.
This year’s featured guests include Patrick Stewart, who is the narrator for a new environment adventure film, Nature Propelled, that will premier at the show. Patrick also has starred in Star Trek and Shakespearean theater.
The film festival is a production of the South Yuba River Citizens League.
